OSHA Training: Construction Industry
Did you know the construction industry accounts for approximately 4.8% of the U.S. workforce? And according to a recent survey of construction executives, the industry will likely continue to expand well into 2023.
Globally, nearly 340 million workplace accidents occur yearly, with 160 million suffering from illnesses at work. Of those, 3.2 million nonfatal injuries and illnesses were reported in the United States during 2020 alone. And as studies have shown that 62% of workplace injuries and illnesses result in days away from work.1

All classes are scheduled from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Attendees must complete the full 10 hours to receive OSHA 10-Hour Certification.
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s (OSHA) 10-hour construction industry training program provides entry-level workers information on how to identify, reduce, and prevent job-related hazards within the construction industry. The training covers a variety of construction safety and health hazards that a worker may encounter at a construction site, such as fall protection, personal protective equipment, stairways and ladders, scaffolding, and operating machinery.

The training takes a minimum of 10-hours to complete. VensureHR separates the training into two, five-hour days.
VensureHR’s OSHA-authorized trainers conduct 10 and 30-hour training courses under OSHA’s guidelines and course requirements. Students will receive an OSHA-issued student course completion and certification card.
All in-person class participants will be required to follow the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention health and safety mandates regarding masks and social distancing. Meeting rooms will be cleaned and disinfected before and after each training session. To ensure the continued safety of participants, hand sanitizer and masks will be provided.
If you are unable to attend, cancellations must be received no later than seven business days prior to the class start date. Employees who are no-shows or submit cancellation requests less than seven days prior to the start date will be charged a $125 fee.

This information will be provided to the University of California San Diego OSHA Outreach, who will issue certification cards to each participant that attends and successfully completes 10 hours of training. Please ensure all information is correct as OSHA charges a fee for new card corrections.
